Little Abdi-Ethiopia

One day as Elizabeth was making her pastoral visits she came upon little Abdi, a disabled little boy, with his grandma begging on the streets of Nekemte. Elizabeth stopped to speak with them and learned their sad story. They come from a village a couple of hours away and some time ago had to flee after their village was attacked and Abdi's parents were shot and killed and Abdi was also injured resulting in the loss of his leg. Their situation was so dire they had to move in to the town to try and find food. When Elizabeth visited their rented room she found them living in very poor conditions (photo 1) But praise God He brought Elizabeth and Charis to them. We now help them with food, have moved them to a much nicer room and equipped it with mattress and household items and equipped Abdi so he can go to school. (photo 2 &3) He is such a happy little boy and has a dream to be a doctor. May his dream come true in Jesus name!
